Your alerts say my product is in stock, but when I get to the Web site its not available anymore, what gives?

These are very popular products that come in stock for short periods of time. Often, the store has very few of them at any given moment. Don't be surprised if a product is sold out within minutes. If you're getting to your email too late, download our desktop alert application to be notified instantaneously. We'll even automatically open a browser window for you to the exact product you're looking for so you have the best chance of getting it first.

I answered my alert right away, and the store still says they're sold out, what gives?

Try clicking on the product or adding it to your shopping cart anyway, even if it says sold out. Sometimes, the store updates me before they update their own Web site interface. Some items that say sold out may actually be in stock when you add it to your cart. Hang in there! You'll get your product soon. We hope to make this easy on you, but persistence is always the best approach!

Why do I have to download Adobe Air?

During development, we found that Adobe Air would allow us to get your alerts out the fastest. Downloading 2 products is an extra step, yes, but our application takes about 30 seconds to download and install, and Air takes about 2 minutes to download and install. You need only do this once, so take some time and download both; it will be worth your while when you're playing with your recent purchase.

Is your software secure?

We've taken every precaution to make sure you get the safest software available. You've got nothing to worry about. Our desktop alert won't take up valuable memory and neither will Adobe Air. Download away!

Is there any cost to me?

Simply put: No. Our product availability service is completely free to use. Pass it along to friends so they can find out when hot products they're looking for come in stock.

Do you have email alerts?

When you subscribe to our alerts, you automatically are enrolled to email alerts. Upon downloading and installing our desktop alert application, you'll begin receiving those alerts in addition to your email alerts. Note: email alerts are slower, our tests show that you're much more likely to get the product you want by using the desktop alert.

Are any other alerts available?

Were working on Twitter and Mobile text alerts. Those will likely be added within the next few weeks after we figure out the logistics.

Why am I asked to login?

When you login, you can manage your own profile, including adding or removing products that you want alerts for. We do not store any of your personal information when you login.

How can I uninstall the desktop alert software?

The desktop alert application is very easy to uninstall. You may uninstall it as you would any other application on your computer - for example, use "Add and Remove Programs" under the "Control Panel" in Windows operating systems. Alternatively, you may simply attempt to download the application again, but click the drop down in the initial Adobe Air installation screen. You'll be asked if you want to uninstall. Click yes, and you're free of the application!
